If you read my post about TRISCUIT Bruschetta then you know how much I love TRISCUIT crackers! Every week we buy a box of TRISCUIT crackers (we usually stick to the TRISCUIT Original Crackers) and buy different items to make a TRISCUIT cracker sandwich. They are so much healthier than buying prepackaged lunches for your kids! And it’s fun to get creative! You could also just replicate all the deliciousness pictured on the TRISCUIT cracker boxes. I’ve loved all that I’ve tried. There are so many different flavors to choose from. I chose the TRISCUIT Smoked Gouda Crackers for these. I purchased everything I needed at Walmart.
We had a taste testing party to see what flavors go best with this cracker. I wasn’t sure if the Gouda Cheese would be too much with a Gouda Cracker so we tried a few different cheeses, but it was unanimous, Gouda was the favorite. The combination of the California Avocados and cheese bring a great creamy texture to the crunchy cracker. You also have to add something sweet to top it with, so I added strawberry jam. And I pretty much put basil on anything I can, because it’s like the cherry on top! I love these because I can bring them as an appetizer to a party or eat them for lunch or snack at home. And obviously I love how easy they are to put together!
Check out how easy these are to assemble! Top the cracker with a slice of Gouda Cheese.
Then add a slice of avocado.
Then drizzle on some strawberry jam.
And top with a little basil. That’s it! I like to call this Avogoudajamscuit!
I found the TRISCUIT crackers in the cracker and snack aisle at Walmart. TRISCUIT Mediterranean Olive Crackers and TRISCUIT Sriracha Crackers are the other two new artisanal flavors. And don’t forget about the traditional flavors like the TRISCUIT Reduced Fat Crackers, TRISCUIT Hint of Salt Crackers and the TRISCUIT Cracked Pepper and Olive Crackers.
- 1 Box of TRISCUIT Smoked Gouda Crackers
- 1 block of Gouda Cheese
- 1 California Avocado
- Strawberry Jam (I used my homemade Jam)
- Fresh Basil
- Top your TRISCUITS with a slice of Gouda Cheese, a slice of avocado, a drizzle of strawberry jam, and a slice of basil. Enjoy!
